Custom printing — from cards to posters — using hand-set type, laser-cut or hand-carved blocks, or photopolymer.
Laser engraving and cutting on a variety of materials, including wood, acrylic, and aluminum.
Website development in native HTML, WordPress, PHP, and other frameworks.
Who we are
Anachronism Press is the studio of Chris Jarosh, a designer, developer, and printer in Oregon, Wisconsin. We specialize in small to mid-sized web design and development projects, as well as traditional print design work, letterpress, and laser cutting/engraving.
Chris is an interactive designer—and, as is often the case, the path he took to get there was more Bézier curve than straight line. His past selves—aspiring mathematician and archaeologist, Peace Corps volunteer in Vanuatu, technical writer, and creator of content publication tools—inform his work. He aims to produce work that reflects both his solid sense of whimsy as well as his desire to make the world we interact with make sense.
